I am a Queer Femme Xicanx Bilingual & Bicultural child of Mexican immigrant parents raised in Orange County, CA where I continue to reside. I enjoy dancing, singing karaoke badly, learning the piano, riding my bike around town, cooking, reading, being out in nature, traveling, and creating memories with loved ones.

I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2012) and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Services from California State University Fullerton (2010). I am licensed to practice Clinical Social Work in the State of California (LCSW #80318) since 2017 and I began clinical practice in 2013.

I approach therapy from an integrative approach mostly humanistic and somatic while incorporating psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral as needed. Decolonizing approaches include Indigenous Ways of Knowledge such Chican@ Psychology, Anarchafeminist & Anarchopunk theory, Black Anarchisms, Multicultural Psychotherapy, Liberation Psychology and Mujerista approaches. I support individual and collective healing from trauma towards recovery by integrating each person's spiritual, artistic, and creative practices as a source of continued restoration and healing. I encourage people to reconnect to their own cultural ancestral ways of healing and reengage in natural wellness practices like sobadas/massage, physical therapy, movement/exercise, dance, music, art, gardening, cooking traditional meals, building community, faith and spiritual practices, and being in nature.

I have completed numerous advanced clinical training programs and I am trained in the following somatic and relational therapy models: EMDR, TRM, IFS, IFS-IFIO, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Sex Therapy. I also regularly participate in culture centered trainings and workshops that focus on Queer Trans & Women’s sexual health, Neurodivergence, Chican@ Psychotherapy and Mexican Traditional Medicine workshops and talks.

I am also a longtime client and student of western psychotherapy and Mexican Traditional Medicine and I have received life changing healing benefits of many of the same approaches that I offer clients today.
