Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
As a specialty provider, De la Tierra Wellness Collective does not accept insurance payment and is an out-of-network provider. We can offer a superbill for possible reimbursement from PPO insurance plans (call ahead to determine deductible and rate of reimbursement). For HMO & PPO insurance plans, call your provider and advocate for a single case agreement to work with a specialized therapist out of network (Single Case Agreement informational handout).
When and how do I pay?
Fees are due at the time that sessions and services are rendered. Debit/Credit/Health Savings Account card payments are accepted for online payments.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE UNTIL I FEEL BETTER?
Therapy is an individualized and unique healing journey that requires consistency, commitment, follow through, and gentle and slow actions towards making desired long term changes. My practice tends to attract persons that are ready to make this emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, financial and time commitment. People that have experienced the most benefits of therapy have participated in a minimum of 30-52 sessions of either individual or relational therapy.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
All persons have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate per federal law as of January 1, 2022. A Good Faith Estimate enumerates the expenses you can reasonably expect to pay for your mental health care services provided by my psychotherapy practice.
